David was instrumental creating
Premium Banana. He wanted to put together a rock and roll band for the
variety show he was producing in the village of Ramsbury, and ended up
singing most of the six songs performed. |

Since then he has been known to
strum the odd chord, shake the odd tambourine and, when allowed, blow the
odd harmonica. |
|
David’s musical background is
derived not from bands but from the stage. He has been acting since the
age of 10 in plays and musicals. |
|
He has played the Artful Dodger
in ‘Oliver’, the lead role in ‘Barnum’ and probably the most memorable,
the Mayor of the Munchkins in ‘The Wizard of Oz’. He is also an
accomplished director. |

David shares a house with his
girlfriend, his two daughters and two Labradors. |
|
He spends his days as a primary
school deputy head teacher and his evenings trying to live this down. |
