Ian began his
musical career when he started playing the cornet at the age of nine. Since
that time, he has competed for more than 25 years at the highest level in
the brass band world including appearances at national finals in the
Albert Hall and BBC’s Best of Brass, as well as many regional and national
competitions across the U.K. |

He has
appeared at numerous concerts performed in many great concert halls, being
the featured soloist on the Flugelhorn and Cornet at many events. |

Ian has been
involved in various radio recordings for the BBC and the Dutch Radio Hilversum.
He has also traveled on several foreign concert tours in Northern Europe.

Ian retired
from playing with the Aldbourne brass band to concentrate fully
on Premium Banana - of which he was a founder member.. but still keeps his
lip in with the Wantage Brass Band. |

Ian is married
with three children,…….. |
