John started playing the piano
at the age of 7. Finding it difficult to read music, he acquired keen
improvisation skills at an early age! |

He joined a rock band while at
school, and then played keyboards for ‘The Sink’, a college band playing
covers of the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Lou Reed and others. |

After that, John spent a few years in
the musical wilderness until being discovered by Premium Banana in the
Spring of 2000. |

John is married with three small
children and is an airline pilot by day / night / whenever. |
